Except those are pounds, not euros, so $9.939

Oh it are ponds...I thought you said dollars =p. (I am used that people use dollars on this site).
But I really thought it was Sony's fault though..

I would be so pissed if I bought a $400-600 system and had to pay ~$8-9 more for a highly anticipated video game.

It kinda sucks but it's far from a big deal.

lol, this is not surprising on the ps3.

Could they are trying to recoup the cost of developing the PS3 version or maybe MS had something to do with it. Just seems very odd though I know Japan the prices vary on some games.
| gebx said: @DMJ - Could be because (all guesses) A) PS3 users have more cash to burn?? More likely to pony up an extra $5 C) PS3 userbase too small to make a profit at $39.99 D) Rockstar pissed that Sony backed out of LA Noire E) Part of the $50 million MS package... Who knows maybe they made a deal? |
Considering they aren't getting the RRP from Rockstar till April 14th it isn't B,C,D,E.
I've got mine pre-ordered from amazon anyway. I never buy games from WHSmith, they are just a stationary retailer, barely andyone buys games from them
That's not very surprising. Sony Europe already explained that they rised the royalties on PS3 games because of the huge losses on hardware.
Youre surprised? this is the case with pretty much all major games across both platforms in the UK. Assassins creed was the same, so was DW6, Call of duty 4...no big deal.
