But in seriousness this would be the best thing to happen this generation, I bet the devs who made 'Blur' are pissed!

Wait for it to be announced on the "Uncovered" event in March... Square Enix actually WANTED to port the game for the Xbox One and as of the last time I read their opinion on it, still want it...

Of course he wants XIV on Xbox One. Japanese games are already scarce as it is on the platform, especially from Square Enix. 3 Japanese games(XV, KH3, and Type-0) this gen on Xbox One while their competitor has too many to count. Funny thing is, Phil knows this, and in the end, rejected SE every time SE tried to negotiate for the game to be on Xbox One. Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does. It'd be fun for the casual japanese game lovers that only own an Xbox.

See, this is why Xbox should never be in a dominant position in consoles. Do you think MS would be implementing cross platform play if Xb one was ahead of PS4? No they wouldn't. But they are behind and trying to catch up as well as make their online environment more viable for non-shooter multiplayer games. And that means adopting some policies that were picked up last gen by other platforms, and arrogantly rejected by MS at that time.

That's what I've been saying! Not having cross platform play from the beginning has been by far the most ass-backwards, stupid, anti-consumer move that almost no one talked about.

Thank you, Phil, for finally being the final nail in the coffin to this era of selfishness. This is good for gamers, devs, and publishers.

I agree, I really wouldn't mind cross-platform gaming between all the platforms, that would be great for us all.

Yes, I certainly agree that having MP in your games helps make it last a loot longer. Just look at games like Smash Bros and Mario Kart 64.. xD

And if you want FF14 on the XBO Phil, you should get to work on that! x D

I recall MS bribing them to allow it anyways and Wada was more lenient towards the Xbox brand since it was leading the sales in the console market at the time...
