Few questions, I want a xbox one to play gears of war as I loved that game and wondering if its backward compatible with the elder scrolls games that was on the 360. I want to play oblivion again and maybe skyrim. Is the xbox reliable now, my 360 I think I'm on my fifth one and its been dead for over a year, everything broke on it from the dvd player, controller coundn't charge, hard-drive failed etc. Tks guys, its 350 right now for the gears ultimate bundle.

I'm sure they'll come eventually, but as of right now Skyrim and Oblivion are not on the backwards compatibility list for Xbox One.

The xbox 1 is reliable. Also the elder scrolks isnt bc yet but the fallouts on 360 are.

If its for Gears of War then you might want to consider building a PC since GoW4 most likely coming to PC.

Elder scrolls on console are terrible lol but if you wait long enough im sure they'll add bc for them 

Honestly I think Xone is very reliable if not I would expect we would have seen articles everywhere. Oblivion/Skyrim will possible be on bc but that is a question for bethesda. Well the Gears games are on bc and the beta for IV is coming I feel if you get one now you will be busy for a time :p.

I would love to build a pc but I still find it too expensive for what I need, I did some research and it would most likely cost me close to 1g for a good one that would last two years but then its time to upgrade again. For 350$ its hard to build a pc that would play anything on it.

Well I went with the MS store as they had a better deal, 50$ off + 50$ gift card and Assassin creed unity as an extra game.
Anyways I got it today after the whole BS I got previously from MS store and to my great disappointment the controller comes with two standard batteries, like do I need to buy a controller charge kit for it or just regular rechargeable batteries and use my ps4 cable to charge the controller. Tks.

The Xbox one in my game room has the TV connected via HDMI. It's been turned n for DAYS without my knowledge because people stay over and either forget it just don't turn it off. The "sleep mode" doesn't seem to work because I set it to turn off after an hour of inactivity and it NEVER turns off automatically.

Anyway, I've never had a problem with it. It's reliable.
