Honestly, I play for the complete package. I wouldn't play a Zelda game with just dungeons, the same thing goes for a Zelda game with only the overworld to explore =P

The worlds for sure.
I love being able to explore the vast worlds of Zelda games.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
I like both. That's why i like playing Zelda so much.

What if the story is as good as many thought Skyward sword was? |
There is such thing as opinion you know. Right? If you know about that, then there is no need to reply to me.

Dungeons and puzzles :)
But I like the world exploration too.... its a balance act, cant have too much of one and not the other.
The main reason I play LOZ games is for the music. Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess both have amazing soundtracks.
The overworld for sure. Puzzelda killed dungeons in Zelda games as soon as they started calling them temples with OoT. They suck now.
They're supposed to be scary labyrinths populated by gruesome challenges and traps, not dainty temples filled with cute little brain teasers. They're a place you go to because you have to. Because it's your duty as a hero. Because someone has to. Not because it's a cute little mind-bending challenge. They aren't supposed to be fun little tests of problem solving with some enemies thrown in. They're supposed to be labyrinthine death traps made to keep people out or kill them in, and the player should feel that way. That's why the overworld is supposed to work in tandem with them. In the overworld, you're free and can breath. Dungeons are claustrophobic and something you just want to finish as fast as possible, so when you beat the dungeon and reach the bright overworld again, it's a massive release, like gasping for air after holding your breath under water for too long.
Now, I go to Souls games for real Zelda dungeons. Hopefully Zelda U returns to that. It doesn't even have to be remotely as hard. It's just the level design and enemy types. Aonuma said he want's to "turn puzzles on it's head" in Zelda Wii U, and specifically alluded to there not being puzzles in this one as one of the conventions he wants to change. If this is actually true, and they finally kill Puzzelda, then Godspeed, Aonuma. God fucking speed. Make me love dungeons again. Bring back that feeling of the OG Zelda. The feeling Dark Souls stole from us all. (and did a great job with)

I wasnt arguing, was just asking. What I ever do to you? Dont think I have ever said more than ten things to you and now I am banned from asking a friendly question? |
it may not have been your intention but you came off as immediately saying SS sucked and that if Zelda U was like that what would I think. You don't know my stance on SS and that's just not a great way to ask that question. Lol. Just word it better next time.

Personal opinion and explorative discussion are clearly conceptially at odds, Spurge. They are mutually exclusive. You should have known better. If someone voices an opinion, clearly what they are really saying is "please don't talk to me about anything at all please."
