The Playstation 3D display launched at $500, more than the ps3 at the time.
Granted it didn't sell much and hopefully Sony has learned a lesson from that.
PSVR $375 including one PSmove
PSVR $400 including camera and PSmove
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

If this was PS3 era then yea I could understand. Sony seems to have wised up and they have a bunch of VR games in development so I think they'll be willing to take a bit of a loss and make it up in software sales.

You know, I keep forgetting about that... surly, Sony will pack in some games with it. Like the other are doing... but which games. NMS might not launch with VR but Sony also has more high profile content then the others as well. Like GT Sport

that'd be weird as the camera is required for PSVR to work properly, even if you use a DS4 to play
without the cam there would be only rotational head tracking, which makes for a subpar (cellphone-esque) VR experience
