Sony funded SFV and didn't keep the IP, I think they should have done the same for Sunset Overdrive. But hey, I own both X1 and PS4 because I like having access to more notable games.

Again, you only think RotTR was a bad deal because its more successful.

I'm sure Sony spent big money to get fund SFV exclusively development. But I'm more concerned about Capcom and the IP.

Fixed. It's like Bayonetta2, not ROTTR.

Furthermore, SFV sales will rise after June.

I don't believe SFV needed Sony, especially given the way it was released. Also, Capcom seems to have a bunch of games (new and ports) in development.

How can they have so many projects happening and no money for SFV? Just doesn't add up but I don't want to argue about it either.

Bayonetta 2 is a different story. Sega doesn't do much these days outside of PC strategy games and JRPGs.

Not Sony in particular, but I won't remind you what Ono said, you know it. Sony caught the ball and the fact that MS didn't allowed cross play with PC at this time hasn't helped them. In addition to the development cost, there is also the fund accorded to competitions in order to push the game into the E-sport scene.

How can they have so many projects happening and no money for SFV? Just doesn't add up but I don't want to argue about it either.

The answer is in your sentance. Too many projects (in progress) for not enough money. SFFV was not a priority for Capcom.

Bayonetta 2 is a different story. Sega doesn't do much these days outside of PC strategy games and JRPGs.

For Bayo2 I agree, each case is different, I just wanted to point that te deal with SFV is closer to the latter than ROTTR.

My answers in bold.

Time will tell if vgchartz have to correct these first 10 weeks sales, and what will be the trend of the following 10 weeks.

You say with a straight face that the one year gap won't affect the sales and a portion of the users won't buy it full price because they will consider it a year old product? For real?

Please don't put words in my mouth to make an argument.

Sorry, but that was what seemed you and LudicrouSpeed have been saying this whole time... that the lost sales on PS4 is minimal because no one really cares about late ports. So which is it? How many sales will you say they lost because of it? And how much good faith?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Exactly lol.  They're going in circles.  Can't have it both ways.  So which is it lads?

It wouldn't have sold 4-5 million last year on PS4 LOL. It's not CoD or Fallout.

And if you truly believe there are that many Tomb Raider fans who would have bought it last year, there's no reason to assume that this year with more consoles in the wild that it wouldn't sell that. Or even HALF of that 5 million would be great sales.

Again, don't confuse Internet bitterness and bickering with what the average consumer buys. If the Internet were any indication, CoD would have died years ago.

I Gave a random number just for Example, it could have sold 80+ Millions and now will sell 1-2 Millions but we will never know because the first case will never happen.

And I will just repeat that there is no logical reason for such a large dropoff. The game is great, it will release during the holidays, there will be even more PS4 users out there to sell to than there was in 2015. It's going to sell very well. Of course, whatever the sales are, some ITT will just come in and say it could have been double or triple that if not for the deal, but it's nonsense.

This is the exact opposite of SFV, which is not a good game, had an abysmal launch, and is overstocked on shelves everywhere. People claim it will have great legs, but it will do so at massively discounted prices and with lots of used copies on the shelf. In other words, not the kind of legs that are good for Capcom. Outside of how bad the exclusive deal was for them, they really blew the launch.

Capcom is one of the Few Video Game Companies who had Negative Income $$$$ and they can only rely on Resident Evil and Street Fighter, they Killed Devil May Cry, Megaman, and others franchises.

Street Fighter V is a good game, The game have a Bigger Re-play value because is a Fighting game so the game will last for much time after the launch, Tomb Raider will not have such legs,  it seems that you don't understand what i'm trying to say I'm saying that is Useless to say that the game would sell the same (or more) after 1 year, or that it would sell less, We don't have the numbers and not even Square Enix will know.

I Need to remind you that Sega is one of the top 5 Richest gaming companies in the world ? they do much money in Arcade, PC, and Mobile, one more reason for them to have money left to make Bayonetta 2 a game that would not cost more than 40 Millions of US$.
