Dota isn't a franchise, Dota is a single game.

Dota also never had 2 games avaliable at the same time, but franchises like Diablo, Warcraft, The Sims, aways had.

So now we're moving to franchises only?, I'm talking originally of MP games, games with more focus on the multiplayer aspect of the game, games known for their multiplater part.

There was Diablo 1, then came 2 and 1 died off, same with 2 when 3 came around and once 4 hits the same will occur once more. Also when was Sims online only or multiplayer based?.

You're still trying to argue for the sake of arguing that SFV>TR>4 platforms. Like I said before, this isn't going to go anywhere at all ebcause I flat out disagree, I've disagreed since you first quoted me.

Yes, Street Fighter will sell more lifetime than TR, the Sales TR Lost because delayed the game for PS4 are more than the sales Street Fighter V would get from Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

And you were talking about the Franchise in general  Dota cannot be considered a Franchise because they deleted the previous game to release Dota 2, there is no Longer a "Dota 1", Street Fighter 4 had Multiple versions that splited the userbase.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 had more than 10 Millions of Active players on the consoles 1-2 months before Black Ops 3's Launch, so people still play older games when new ones came out, but Capcom made it impossible because of the multiple launchs.

And I just disagree with you on that because a single player game has more chance at life and selling more than a game that puts or has it;s focus on it;s multiplayer side.

The previous game isn't "deleted"  as it still exists on the net, same with original CS for those with dedicated servers, games without those two options however are as good as dead.

And where are all those COD players now?, where are the BLops 1 players these days?. Every multiplayer game factually comes to an end, they all have defined timestamps and you can deny this to the high heavens but history has shown.

Again this won't be going anywhere.

Okay, I thought you were gonna have some sort of proof SE said it underperformed. It didn't achieve to true sales potential being on Xbox only, that's another argument.

TR 2013 was actually profitable the same year it released, look it up.

I won't look up for the link. But if you were on VGC at the time you would had seen the thread about devs saying it undeperformed.

I feel like that should have been bigger news. But whatever, it looks like RotTR is outpacing the previous game on Xbox so thats a better place to be than SFV.

Can't say it was big news... and sure, considering Xbox only and VGC numbers, RTR is better of than TR at the moment and possibly at the end of it's sales. But we'll have to wait for the PS4 sales to see how much it have lost from the timed exclusivity, hope it isn't much. I'll buy when it's cheap enough.

As I've said many time before, we can assume MS gave SE a lot of money compensate for lost sales on PS4. Why else would it go exclusive?

Its a great game and its gonna do well on PS4. In fact, the real question is how well is it going to do on PS4.

Because we don't know how much each one was paid, Capcom, and Square Enix, we shall atleast assume that they  paid the same for both companies.

We are discussing sales here, so unless we consider MS payment as sales I fail to see your point. And I agree the question is how well it's going to do on PS4.

I presume MS paid less due to length of exclusivity.

Life time sales for SFV could have been a couple million X1, looking at SFIV. RotTR is still coming to PS4 and the odds of it selling a couple million are high.

I Think that Street Fighter V sales would  not be greater than 1 Million for Xbox One, the console don't like Japanese games and PS3 Out-sold nearly every japanese game version of a Multiplataform, even on USA where the console was 20+ Millions behind, and even without Japan's numbers the total already is greater than the Xbox 360 versions.

I didn't say SFV could have sold better on X1, I said lifetime sales on X1 could have been 2 million.
