Exclusives and japanese games. Multiplatform games are just the icing on the cake.

The main reason is that my best friends and family got the same console. Exclusives were a bigger part upon launch but these days I mostly play Destiny and the exclusives I thought would be great, I don't really care for (in comparison to Destiny). But I have a bunch of friends that are hardcore into Destiny and it's really fun to play with them.

Lesser reasons include I was already invested in, the ecosystem of the console before it and I greatly prefer the controller

I bought a ps4 because of both, track record and exclusives. From ps1 all the way through ps4, I have enjoyed everything from Legend of Dragoon, Crash, Wild Arms, all the way through The Last of Us, Dead Nation, Infamous, and The Order (albeit a bit short lol).



Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I got my X1 because of Gears of War, gamerscore, online play with friends, controller, Quantum Break, legend players in Fifa ultimate team and just a little bit of brand loyalty, original Xbox made me a gamer after all.
