Forums - Nintendo - Miyamoto explains the changes made to Starfox since E3

Hey as long as the final game feels extremely polished, I could care less about the delay.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Now I hope they will care about the story in the sequels, because Command fucked up almost everything. Now it's time to set all back to zero, and hope for Starfox Zero to be a new dawn for the serie.

I'm glad to see that Star Fox Zero will actually have branching paths!

Seems like great changes, and worth the delay

Imagine how the game would have been without those features.

Take note third parties, delay meant to be add more contents & fix or improve technical. Not meant to be slashing contents, downgrading graphics & switching engines.

I'm goin to preorder the first print edition with Starfox guard and the normal edition. I'll wait for the reviews to decide if I cancel one or both.

See? People was whinning, bad reception = delay + improvements.
Next one is Paper Mario...

Paper Mario's reception hasn't been remotely this negative. I doubt anything will change there.

Fair enough, thanks for at least telling us Nintendo.

- Add the branching paths map system instead of just having a linear series of levels

The lack of branching paths to begin with seems like it was initially a lazy attempt at making a Star Fox game

Dont get me wrong, the game could have still been good, but it would be like Mario Tennis:Solid gameplay, but barebones in content.Thats what I mean

Now it looks like a proper game

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
