And YOU missed the praise "platforming adventure" during my point about 3D World. And just because Federation Force and Color Splash aren't the games you were looking for from their respective franchises, they're supposed to be mistakes? I can see that it was dumb with Color Splash given how Sticker Star isn't popular, but the whole "cancel this game" petitions are beyond stupid considering there is an audience of people who are looking foward to both of those games, just because you weren't that doesn't make your word or opinion matter more than theirs. And I know enough about Zelda delays that they happen frequently, Twilight Princess was delayed for close to 2 years so that it could be a Wii launch title, Skyward Sword was supposed to be in 2010, but ended up being the Wii's swan song in 2011. Ocarina of Time was originally 1997 and then pushed back to 1998, Majora's Mask and Wind Waker are the only 3D games that weren't delayed. So I know the context, I ALSO know not to let something so minimal as a video game delay put me in a legitmate bad mood for the forseeable future, make me feel bad, and ruin my day like you have let it do. I know enough about delays in general that they are done to give the game more time and more resources, and that a better game is worth waitng for. And I FACEPALM every time I here someone act like their lives are on the line whenever there is a rumor NOT LEGIT NEWS, A RUMOR, about Star Fox being delayed again. I mean, seriously?!? It's just a freaking video game, it's not life & death! I don't work for the company, I don't have stocks invested in them, I'm not going to let something like THAT bother me, because the fact of the matter is I have more important things in my life to take care of, that requre my attention, and I can't afford to let something so mismal, pety, and pathetic like THAT distract or put me down. How is a company's development and release cycles going to geniunely affect my everyday life? What is the correlation between the two? And if your happiness, emotions, and attitude are actually, legitimately dependent on THAT, then that says more about YOU and than the company in question.

We clearly have different standars as to what to call adventure.
I never signed any petition.
Ocarina of Time was delayed since 1996 (original released date) and they never went dark, always showed the game.
Twilight Princess was delayed only 1 year for the Wii (2005-2006) and was ready to launch in 2005.
If the rumors are true, Zelda HD is again delayed one full year for the NX version. Now, tell me why do I be ok with them delaying a game I want one full year for financial reasons that doesn't benefit me in any way? Or maybe you could tell me how it benefits me having to wait for this useless delay. I'll be here to read your explanation.

It's not going to affect you in anyway either. you're acting as if the game is a family member that was taken from you and you're being forced to wait one full year to see that person again and then pay $60 to get it back. I mean seriously, why do you care?
If they delay it, they delay it. It's that simple, why do you feel the need to cry, bitch, and moan about it like it's the end of the world?
Oh and for financial reasons, GASP, SHAME ON NINTENDO! SHAME ON THEM FOR BEING A COMPANY THAT IS LOOKING TO MAKE THE MOST AMOUNT OF MONEY OFF OF THEIR PRODUCT SO THAT THEY CAN USE IT ON OTHER VENTURES! SHAME ON THEM!!
Besides, they have always delived when it came to 3D Zeldas haven't they? So that's one reason I don't have an issue, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest.
How will it benefit you? How about it gives the developers extra time to a) fix bugs/glitches and polish the game b) pay more attention to these little details and fine tune them so that the game as a whole is made better. c) make it the best possible experience that it can be. It's not going to hurt you, either. So if it won't affect you in a negative way, why should you care? Do you have stocks invested? Do you work for them? Does your life depend on whether they can get the game out by 2016? No, it doesn't. Your life is not affected in anyway.
I'm not going to let something this pety get to me because a) it's not worth it. b) I don't have a problem with it to begin with. c) it doesn't affect me or the way I live my life in the slightest. d) if anything it allows me to save my money on something that may come up which is more improtant down the line. and e) I realize there are bigger, better, more important things to worry about and that need my attention over a video game.
Bottom line:
People put so much of their lives and are so fragile to the affairs and actions of a company and become so attached to it, that they lose sight that it's just a video game, it's a form of entertainment, THAT'S IT.
Your life is not dependant on THAT. And if you truly let THAT upset you and get the best of you, than I feel sorry for you.
