Here are the sales of Wii fit since January 12th, so weeks 7-16 of it being on the market:

ltd: 1.7mil/5.6mil = 30.4% attach rate so far in Japan...and since attach rate is higher than 30% now, that number will only grow in the coming months...to put into perspective, wii fit only sold 5k less copies last week than smash bros did, which was on its 7th week and has less overall sales (by about 600k) than wii fit in japan

one thing is for sure, Say all you want about Wiifit, it has struck a core with the casual gamers.

To be fair, it's not like Wii sports could have sold what Wii Fit did first week. But yeah, Wiifit is doing pretty crazily.

I can only hope that this catches on on USA and Europe too. If the game does 30% attach ratio to all the Wii's out right now (22.67 Mil), WiiFit would have sold near 7 million. Thats amazing. Considering there will be ever MORE Wii's out in the wild by the time it launches in NA/Europe, this is shaping up to be a very interesting game.
