At first I thought fake but Monster Hunter Generations just got trademarked by Capcom.

Oh, wow, MH Generations is legit. So I guess this makes this leak legit? Underwhelming if that's the case, but I'm curious about that MH - FE. That might elevate the Direct into something else xDDDD. Though I'm still kinda hopeful that the "main presentation" folder might contain some Shibata/Reggie bits announcing new games, and the rest of them are trailers and interviews.

I think so. I truly needed some info about SMTxFE, but what can I do? :(. I'm curious about how they will handle the Federation Force backslash, though. Will they be able to convince the fans? :P

They aren't. It's probably Excel from 2010 or 2013.

What you are seeing is Windows flagging the archive as a "microsoft excel 97-03 spreadsheet" because it has the .xls extension, instead of the more modern .xlsx used ever since.
