Star Ocean 5 versus Dark Souls 3 for PS4 in japan, which game has better sales figures in the future ?

In Japan - first week and overall ?

And in the west (europe & usa), PS4 vs PS4 version ?

I think Star Ocean will outsell both first week and lifetime Dark Souls 3 in Japan.

In the west it will be the other way around, and the numbers will be far more different than in Japan. Can't really put my finger on figures, though.

To be honest, I think Dark Souls 3 will win in all of those categories. It's got more momentum at the moment. Most people barely even remember Star Ocean. Depends how it reviews though. There's a lot of thirst for JRPGs right now. If it comes out and hits like 90% on metacritic, it'll sell pretty damn well.
