Forums - Sales - Amazon U.S. March monthly bestsellers and general Amazon-based discussion

They should officially drop to $300 + brand new AAA game. Just putting out a statement will sell consoles. Currently the XB1's price isn't even being shown because Amazon is selling the thing under Microsoft's MSRP. And then this Holiday season they should have the XB1 Slim for $250 + new AAA game.

Is that really the reason? I wondered about it myself so is there any verification that's why?

The PS5 Exists.

Well, there it is. How many retailers are going to accept surplus stock in the future? This isn't good. No wonder MS have stopped giving sales figures.

In the mean time the bundle is dropping and currently sits at #2,085. I can't see this game being a system seller but it really should be from what I've seen.

Well, first of all Remedy is a legit studio.

And most importantly, Microsoft has put out this game in almost EVERY conference they have been, including the revealing of the Xbox One, which makes what? Almost 3 years of hyping the title non stop?

Im honestly surprised that this game is not moving any needles...like at all.

No threads, no hype, no sales, the bundle is DOA.

What is happening?

I just want to preface this with the fact that I have an X1 and really like it, and this is not my personal position, just what I am seeing on forums.

But, the consoles seem to be in totally different places, and not just by sales.

On PS4, there seems to be a continual buzz. Uncharted 4, the last in a massive series, with a shit-ton of interest behind it, is approaching, we have have all this VR stuff announced that has caught a lot of people's interest etc.

There just doesn't seem to be much excitement around X1 right now, and although I am a PS fan first and foremost, I have really loved my time with the console so it would be a shame if that was really the case.

I might be wrong though, I usually am.

QB finally in the top 100 at #96.
