"Oh wow! A thread about AR! The newest potential technology that interests me the most! And... a Conker game? hmm well its probably going to be a young Conker from the GBA game because they want to appeal to a broader audience. Strange I thought they said they would wait before releasing it? Oh well."

*opens thread. computer is being slow so I only see a blank outube video that says "Microsoft Hololens: Young Conker"*

"Yep definitely looks like I was on the money"

*Opens link to youtube, sees dislike bar*

"Whoah why the dislikes? I mean I know that people like old Conker but this can't be that bad. Come on that's just silly"

I still think AR has the potential to be fantastic in and out of gaming... but that... was terrible (haven't seen the others yet)

Am I the only one that thinks that looks horrible?

Only one of those 3 (roboraid) looked almost decentish, rest? meh.
Silly little (in scope) games akin to touch screen games like ninja fruit.

No thanks, give me real games instead.

Yeah, that's the "game" I've seen. The shooter game doesn't look half as bad but I'm not convinced though. Conker redesign is godamn awful. I feel sad about a character I truly loved back in the N64 days, and it really deserves a proper game.

I'm not convinced that Hololens will suceed. It has some cool aplications but 3000$ for this is a joke. In the end it would be only used for porn simulation if it was possible and we all know that xDDDDDDD.

More and More Im convinced that useing AR for gameing is the wrong way to go.
AR is pretty damn awesome and can do alot of cool things if used for it, but gameing is not one of them.

Look at the youtube like Vs dislike ratio, like 140 to 1400.

Most comments on youtube like:

"You know that happy feeling you get when you finally see one of your favorite franchises making an epic comeback in an all new game?? This isn't that feeling."

Yeah, I agree. I saw some cool footages about Hololense (I think it was that football footage when people could zoom seeing the game and see stats and all of that), but all of gaming related stuff was bland at best.
