Forums - Nintendo - Will Pokemon Sun & Moon be Gen VII or another B2&W2

normally, i would just go ahead and say, hell yeah, we got another region, another hundred something pokemon, lets go. but the thing is, we dont have a third game yet for Gen VI and this generation is still very young compared to other generations. if this was the start of Gen VII that would even make Gen VI the only gen to not have a third game or a sequel. and yes, we only have to wait until tomorrow to find out, but what do you guys think? could Sun and Moon be a sequel for X and Y?

Pretty sure its a new gen. If it was a direct sequal it would be X2 and Y2 or Z.

I believe there is already a topic on this..

But I think it will still be Gen 6 with maybe a few additional Pokemons

why not both?

It'll be neither, but it'll err more towards B2W2. It's it's own thing.

Gen 7, I'm sure about 99%. I mean, how the heck does Sun and Moon relate to the letters X and Y?

Gonna laugh when it's gen 6.5! :p

I have a weird feeling that something crazy like that is gonna happen. xD
