Oh! Maybe they could be  remakes of gold and silver since hooh  represents the sun and Lugia  represents the moon! Or maybe  black-and-white  remakes since Reshiram has a lot of red and Zekrom has a lot of blue!

Or maybe blue and red are just arecurring color scheme in nearly every generation.

Moon

Since im more of a masochist. I would go for for M! Moon!

Based on the name alone, I can't choose yet. I tend to think moon like most ppl. Probably because moon = night and night = darkness and darkness=cool. Seems like alot of ppl tend to think this way. But in reality, I will have to wait for legendary on each cover to better decide. Usualy with the two legendarys, one of them is cool/feral/look powerfull while the other is more classy/majestic/beautifull. I always picked the later. Ho-Oh over Lugia, Kyogre over Groudon and Xerneas over Yveltall (skipped version 4and5, but would have picked Dialga and Reshiram).

So if they go like I'm predicting with a harsh powerfull and intense Sun fire pokémon and calm, majestic and soft Moon pychic or fairy pokémon, I'll pick Moon. But if they go with a beautifully colored and pure looking Sun pokémon and a evil looking Moon dark pokémon, I'lll pick Sun.

PS: Ppl being so sure this will be announced on friday, I fear you are setting yourself for a disapointment. I hope it will be announced friday, but it's really possible it's just a tradmark made just in case for the futur and it may even never become a game. Would'nt be the first time it happened. A other possibility is that it is coming but later since it sounds like a new gen game and we have'nt gotten X2/Y2orZ (games that could be the ones announced). Especialy considering the fact that their is still alot of Zygarde's story missing with all these forms of his being confirmed by the TV show. Like I said, I'd love to be wrong, but would also enjoyed a 3rd 6gen game.

Edit: I was wrong, Sun/Moon confirmed :) But still no legendary revealed. :(

So far for me it's been Blue->Silver->Ruby->FireRed->Pearl->SoulSilver->White->Black 2->X->Alpha Sapphire... Based on the names alone I'd be going Moon since I'm a winter loving night owl, so that seems to fit me better. Have to actually see what's in them first though. For all we know they could go FE Fates on us and have both have completely different stories.

I went with Silver all those years ago, I'll go with Moon.
