Who are you talking about when you say "you"?  Surely you don't mean a North American or European right?  How long do you think you'd last on the streets of Baghdad before you were kidnapped by extremists?

Very long according to a lot of the embedded journalists. Not in all areas of Baghdad but in most areas they walk the streets without any military protection now a days making their rounds and interviewing people for their stories.

They even had a guest on the Daily Show who just got back from Iraq say as much.

actually instead of nuking Iraq we should use a hydrogen bomb. Its designed to kill people and leave buildings intact.

Lol. Oh yea, these puppies leave building intact...

A hydrogen bomb is just like a nuclear bomb but its fusion not fission. Meaning? Little radiation and a much bigger boom.

 Anyway, on topic I agree that we should split it into 2 or 3 regions. The Iraq as we know it is just a mandated artificial border that the UN drew up in the 50's. For milenia the region of Mespotamia was divided into tribal regions where in people got along for the most part. The U.N was formed and it looked at Africa and didn't like how the people there never really formed what Europeans thought of as a real, border defined, nation-state. So they simply took out some pens and some maps and started drawing in lines. They then told these regions "Hey, your all one "country" now. Form a flag and goverment of some kind".

 Iraq isn't meant to be one region, there are countless generations of bloodshed between Shia and Sunni Muslims. They will not accept rule from the other party peacefully. Either give them each their own region to govern or do what Saddam did and have a fanatical loyal black army that murdered anyone who spoke up. Say all you want about Saddam but his method of rule fit the region perfectly, no terrorist really dared to try to recruit iraqies because they knew Saddam's private army would hear about and kill them and all their familes.

I think he ment a Neutron bomb, they have a small explosion but releases a shitload of radiation killing everyone but leaving most buildings standing.

Partition and leave!

The area which makes up Iraq was peaceful for centuries under the Ottoman Empire and these three areas have only been held together by force since.

Is that for this year, or a recent one?  If so, you have to take into consideration that Iraq isn't even back to half of it's pre-war oil production.  And if it's older than this year but not pre-war, it's going to be even worse, really.  So if this is post-war, we should see their production at closer to 4 once the infrastructure is rebuilt, though the exports wouldn't go up as much because they aren't saving enough for domestic intrests (such as electricity).

@PDF
Do you have any evidence to back up your claim that the US hasn't seen a penny from Iraqi Oil? Do the oil companies even have to disclose their sources to the public or their shareholders?

From what I've read, they now have access to it, and even if they haven't made money from it yet, they will.

4000 US soldiers dead. So 800 soldiers die per year. 90 000 Iraqi civilians have been killed. 18000 civilians killed each year.

This war will go down in the history books as America's biggest mistake...America's standing in the world community has been badly damaged and that won't easily be repaired...It's costing 12 billion a month to bankroll!!!...money which could easily pull the U.S dollar out of the toilet...
The only reason they invaded and now occuppy Iraq was to finish off what George Bush senior started...
