Most people are already expecting an NX version it'll just be another day at this point.

You mean with no Wii U version? Wii U owners will be pretty pissed, except those intending to buy the NX at launch. Everyone else will laugh and rejoice as they should. Better chance of the NX succeeding that way (the game will 100% come to Wii U though)

I was thinking this in the lines of a TP like release. It comes for both systems. It would be the PR disaster of the year if Zelda U didn't come to the WiiU, they'll bring it to both systems.

In which case there shouldn't be a reaction. Why wouldn't it come to the NX? Some Wii U owners will still be annoyed but their isn't much sense in that. If they soley bought a Wii U for this game which still hasn't had a proper reveal then they only have themselves to blame. If thats not the case, then they have nothing to complain about.
