It's not really a different meaning, it's just a group of people trying to take it too far. Just because people have associated a negative meaning to feminism, doesn't exactly change the meaning. |
The reason why I disagree with your analysis of the term is that every time someone tries to talk about men's issues, where they do have less rights than women, they're not called feminists, are they? They're called MRA's and demonized. In theory, your definition works out, in practice, it doesn't.
