Wii U had high price in comparison with PS3/Xbox360, same games looked and worked worse on Wii U than on PS3/360, so you having consumers asking why I would pay around $100 more for console that is weaker than those older and cheaper ones!? Wii U price was high, even Nintendo said that price was higher than they wanted.

Comparison: Black ops 2 Ps3 vs Wii U:

COD Ghosts Ps3 vs Ps4:

Xbox ps2 and wii games also looked similar btw.

Wii didn't have 100m people at launch did it, TP not only moved more hardware at launch then NSMBU it helped in giving the platform high momentum something that you can't argue here.

nope. wii sports mooved 90% of the wiis.

Which still leaves 10m.

I know you refer gamepad to gimmick, again not popular gimmick isnt only reason why Wii U failed.

You just keep dening that things like bad launch titles, bad marketing and name, high price, software drouth...didnt had any impact on Wii U sales. And yes without those mistakes Wii U would easily pass 20m, just good and not misunderstood marketing would push Wii U above 20m

Because there is not a single hint that anything of that had a significant impact.

The cheaper wii u bundle didnt sold more then the premium one (priece probl no big impact)

Even with all great games out not, the sales are still almost the same.

Even with better marketing now, the sales didnt changed.

People thinking that Wii U is addon for Wii and not new console, bad and terrible marketing, Wii U high price in comparison with PS3/Xbox360, no one must have launch title, software drouth...all that had significant impact on sale, but you can keep denying that.

Because Premium Wii U has much higher value, with Wii U Premum you got 32GB console instead 8GB (basically you had 2GB of free space), extra equipment and one physical game.

Yes, because those great games arrived when Wii U was already dead and all third party already abandoned Wii U. You probably dont know, Wii U in first two quarters after launch (from January to June) sold only 460k of units world wide, that was terrible sales for new console, Wii U died in first year and nothing could save it, even great games.

Again, Wii U is dead, in this stage with better marketing you can have slither better sales of console, but you can't revive dead platform.

Again, you just keep dening that things like bad launch titles, bad marketing and name, high price, software drouth...didnt had any impact on Wii U sales.

You realise that Wii U version of Black Ops had worst frame rate!? Majority of third party games at launch worked and looked worse on Wii U than on PS3/Xbox360.

Nobody compared Wii games with Xbox and PS2 games because when Wio arrived on market were also available PS3/Xbox 360 so people compared Wii games with those systems, but that wasn't problem, because Wii was 2x time cheaper than PS3 and 60% cheaper than Xbox 360. When Wii U arrived on market people compared Wii U games with only available consoles on market (PS3/Xbox360) and Wii U was around $100 more expensive and games didnt  look any better, in fact majority of multiplatform games worked and looked worse on Wii U.

So please explain how bad sales in the first year can make a console "die". Do you think costumers check vgchartz before purchasing a console, and if it didnt sold well they wont buy it? Thats makes 0 sense. the ps3 sold bad first as well, managed to moved 80mio +

wasnt THAT terrible. And again, most custormers dont check the framerate of a game before buying it/or the console.

I already told you how, in first year Wii U was considered like ultimate failure and nobody wants it from multiply reasons, also third party completely abandoned platform, when better games and better marketing arived (even price was still high, Wii U still had software drought and gamepad was still unesused), it was too late, in same time on market arived PS4/X1 and Wii U was totally forgotten. Maybe that doesn't make sense to you, but it make sense a lot.

PS3 had only one problem, high price. People didn't wanted to pay $600 for console, when Sony lower price PS3 immediately started to sell much better. So you can really can't compare with Wii U because Wii U had multiple problems.

It was worse that is a fact. They dont, but they see new console that runs same game and look same like on older ones but thise new console has higher price for $100. So you having question why I would spend $100 more for console like that especially if there is no must have exclusive.

Agreed. Nintendo had a 12 month window (until the launch of the PS4 + XBO) to show the public the superior hardware of the Wii U compared to the PS3 + 360, but they didn't use that opportunity.

Even Super Mario 3D World (released shortly after that 12 month window) was in the ballpark of the Ratchet&Clank Future graphics of 2007 + 2009 on PS3 (at least in 30 fps videos on YouTube).
