I am sorry, but I don't want a good series to get slaughtered by the developers for money.

Everyone who already wanted to play the BioShock franchise bought a Xbox360 or a PS3.
And if there are still people who haven't played these games, they would buy a PS3 or Xbox360. This is the reason why both consoles are still avalaible in shops and both are really cheap nowadays.

Nope, I've never played Bioshock 1 or 2, Will get the collection so I can play a game with 2016 performance standards and not 2007, can't even bare to turn my ps3 on anymore, everything runs like crap by comparison.

I agree. I can't stand to turn on my PS3 anymore, as well. I should probably just get rid of it, since i haven't turned it on in well over a year.

I've been expecting this. One of the reasons I haven't replayed the series for 2 years, despite replaying almost every other game series

Why does it bother you that people can finally play it with good graphics and performance?

What about people that havent played it on 7th gen and no longer have an xbox or ps3?

If you played 2 then this already holds true. Zing!

Jokes aside, there's nothing wrong with 2K re-releasing the games to bring up hype for a possible BioShock 4. Remember that Ken Levine on a whim decided he wanted to cut down Irrational's size to nothing and that the same publisher that you're accusing of greed offered every employee great severance pay on top of assistance and references to other jobs within and outside of the company. I'm absolutely fine with them doing this because it's a harmless collection that can essentially only benefit players who want to dive in (barring really shoddy performance), and because Take Two has shown such good grace and respect in the past towards its employees. It anybody gets a pass for a quick and easy HD collection it's these guys.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

I have 200+ PS3 games already, apparently this generation is not for me.

I would love to play these games again on the PS4 so hopefully this is true!!

Bioshock is my #2 favorite game of all time. It is so good that even though Bioshock 2 pales in comparison, it's still better than most of the other games on the market. Got the Infinite platinum on PS3, would gladly replay that one as well.

It depends on what improvements they make, and price though.

Hopefully they don't mess this up. These games are pretty old, so if this collection doesn't run at 1080p/60fps and include all of the DLC I will be disappointed.

I hate this logic, "Everyone who wanted to play x game played it already."

Am I the only person that plays games years or decades after their original release? I doubt it.

This kind of "re-release" where what they do is just put higher settings, resolution and framerate to a game to charge full price for it again are a scam imo because pc players can grab the bioshock trilogy for 15$ on Steam sales and enjoy it with those upgrades while console players are gonna pay 60 bucks for them :/

Well $60 for all 3 three Bioshock games wouldn't be full price per game and prices do go down. I mean Halo:MCC can be easily found for under $30 now.

Lastly, we get it. PC gamers can keep using their copies of old PC games. But there is still a massive market that doesn't want to use PCs as their primary gaming machines.

I played all of the Bioshocks on PC, I can't remember when I played the first, but I played Infinite a year and a half ago, and bought and played Bioshock 2, two weeks ago.
