Agree that in store Demo around E3 is posible like Nintndo already done with same Wii U games, but I dont think eShop Demo is posible before Zelda U launch and definatly not next weak.

An eShop demo for Zelda Wii U is possible. Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire had eShop demos before launch. Super Smash Bros. for 3DS did too. Bayonetta 2 and a bunch of others tha have already been listed, including Splatoon. This is not to say that it will definitely happen, it is possible that it will happen.

Regardless, do you think there are any unannounced surprises in store for Zelda's anniversary?

Exept Splatoon (that basically was test for servers because is online focused game, and almost evre online focused games have something similar), only Bayonetta 2 is only Wii U game that had eShop demo available before launch of a game. So yes, Zelda U eShop Demo is possible but chances are very slim for something like that, especially for next week when we still dont know name of a game and we did not had proper trailer.

eShop Zelda sale is almost certain, expect that maybe some sort of retrospective of Zelda franchise and maybe just small Zelda U teaser.

I agree that the demo is unlikely to happen. It is possible, but highly unlikely haha.

If they were to release a demo - I would say they would release it sometime after E3 to build momentum for Zelda Wii U's hype train.

You are also right that an eShop Zelda sale is practically guaranteed. This here seems like a no-brainer. I would be surprised if there is no sale.

Hopefully the best Zelda game of all time.
