Forums - Gaming - Cloud Strife Vs. Shulk. Who Would Win??

Who would win?

Cloud 96 42.29%

Shulk 131 57.71%

Total:227

Cloud definitely wins over Shulk in Smash lol.

But Shulk wins in a theoretical battle.

Sorry folks but the clear winner without a doubt is Cloud. This is a guy that fought against someone with the power of God, and in his disposal he has the ultimate summoning, and with a clever combination of materia, he cannot die.

Ex: (Phoenix + Final Attack) (Knights of the Round + HP Absorb) + Mime

With that undisputed factual evidence, it'll seem like an unfair fight, but it is what it is. Cloud wins.

There are many types of Gods. The power Shulk has at the end of the game is the one of an omnipotent God. Literally, he has complete control over the universe, he can do and undo anything at his will. In fact, he redone his universe the way he liked at the end of the game. It's like if the universe was a computer system, Cloud one of its programs and Shulk had, not only the full powers of the admin to control all of its features, but also the competence of disassemble the physical computer itself. Shulk could do with Cloud anything he wanted and Cloud could do nothing to fight back.

I didn't say a God, I said the power of God. Sephiroth in ffvii had control of the universe himself at one point.

Now I acknowledge what Shulk can do, but he still cannot do whatever he wants with Cloud because of Materia. Cloud cannot die with a certain materia combo, so w/e Shulk can do, it will simply not kill Cloud. Besides, Aerith is always there supporting Cloud in spirit. With that said, Cloud will kick any omnipotent God ass, including Zelda.

Not interesting.
But Nopon VS Chocobo could be a real war!

No idea, but Cloud is a vastly superior character.

Cloud definitely wins in Smash.

If you are considering the power of the characters in their respective games. Cloud definitely crushes far more impressive enemies, like military battle gear, Sephiroth, and legendary the weapons. With Bahamut Zero, Knights of the Round, and Omnislash, the array of limit breaks and materia skills available to Cloud is FAR more impressive than Shulk's much more rudimentary skill set featuring such moves as stream edge and back slash.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Well I think Cloud is more memorable and cooler. Shalk isn't to shabby either :) he will soon be lost in video game time and no one will remember him. Cloud being the most popular jrpg character of all time is here to stay lol and i know this has nothing to do with them fighting lolol as i have noo idea haha

When shulk has the monado 3 he slayed a god that slayed another God, he has litereally the god slaying sword. He then after that created another universe with no gods. because shulk has the power to do it. He could create a universe with no materia so then Cloud is useless. Shulk also has his visions wich makes him able to see into the future.

SETTLE IT IN SMASH!!

Sephiroth never had control of the universe.  If he did, he would have pretty much accomplished whatever he wanted in an instant.  The best thing he did was blow up a few planets, but that was more for show than anything.

Shulk on the other hand does have control of the universe.  If he wants a world without materia, no more materia.  If he wants a world without cloud, no more cloud.

Yup, totally an omnipotent God. Omnipotent Gods love riding birds.

If we're talking strictly about Smash, Cloud wins by a long shot.

If we're talking about their respective strengths in their games, then I think it'd be neck and neck, but Cloud would still win, I think.
