Yes, he has an irrational fear of muslims. Banning people of an ENTIRE religion consisting of 1.5 billion people based on what a small, small percentage does, is weak and irrational.

In Sweden, we have far more issues with right-wing extremists protesting in the streets, assulting women and kids and setting fire to asylum camps than we have with muslims. Still, I wouldn´t ban all right-wing people because of what a few does. Simply because I´m not irrational, but rather a rational human being who understands that the world is more complex.

Fairly hyperbolic. Trump is a populist similar to a lot of politicians in modern Europe with a cult of personality of sorts, like Putin. His ideas are a mix of centre, right and even some left wing to american voters (making him closer to Kasich and early 00's Republicans than any other candidate). Calling him a fascist can be rebutted and is a easy way to be discredited as a critic of his persona. It was exactly this way that evoking comparisons to Hitler became a fallacy discredited by the entire political spectrum, not to mention it bellitled the tragedies that came from national socialism or real fascist regimes around the world.

And no, claiming you need to stand by your opinion doesn't exempt you. It's merely a cheap misdirection to dispense you from any logical discussion on the subject.

Because I believe in healthy relationships between different cultures, and he speaks as he wants to ban muslims  at all costs. And I'm against walls. That bit about building a huge wall to keep them in their country, because a lot of rapists and murderes come is very disgusting. There's a lot more, but maybe that's what upsets me the most.

Yeah, they're assholes, it's not a question of race xDDDDDDD. People must be spending their resources on cultural understanding, not on borders and frontiers between people. This only creates hate, and the cycle of hate will never stop.

I get that the Middle East is a conflictive area, so I quite understand why they're doing that. But it's not like I support them. We'll have to stop building walls, because this situation creates hate both sides of the walls. That's not healthy. If we continue to build more, the cycle will never stop. I truly believe that what we need is education and cultural understanding, and that's the way to understand ourselves, to understand other cultures. Not promoting hate against a race and just keep them outside like it's the Black Death or something. People like Trump take advantage of this fear to win supporters.
