I can't wait for Friday. I will be getting a copy, and playing the hell out of it. I never buy DLC, so that has nothing to do with my game purchase here.

Awakening free DLC was only limited time. So it's basically the same value now.

We are hyped because its not one game chopped in 3, its actually 3 full length fire emblem games.

If you buy just one, you should still have a complete fire emblem experience. The other options are "what if" scenarios.
Of course, i don't really like that the choice is made in the act of buying. It would be awesome if the two main choices were in just one game.

But imagine all this content for still 40 dollars! That's a good deal and GOTY material.

I understand your concern. I think Platina has the same issue as you and he is big FE fan. Am just going to get one (Birthright). If i enjoy and finish that, i would be pretty happy. May get the DLC alternative path but chances are low.

The cutting up of the game was what convinced me not to buy it. The bad translation/localization just removed all traces of doubt from my decision. If there's a way in the future where I can get the entirety of the game in Japanese for a good deal without complications and find a way to patch the game with the fan translation without going through some long and involved process; then I'll play it. Other than that, the game is pretty much dead to me outside of discussions like this.
