Forums - Nintendo - Your Wii U GOTY 2015, BESIDES Splatoon/XCX

It is...

Yoshi's Woolly World 34 23.29%

Super Mario Maker 64 43.84%

Fast Racing Neo 13 8.90%

Affordable Space Adventures 3 2.05%

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse 2 1.37%

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water 15 10.27%

Other 15 10.27%

Total:146

Since these two games typically dominate the polls whenever we talk about our top Wii U game of 2015, I wondered what would happen if they were removed from the equation for a bit.

So, discounting those two, what was your top Wii U game of last year, and why?

I can´t remember the whole list of games released in 2015 (not that it´s too long anyway) but I think it would be Yoshi´s Woolly World.
Even if the game was not what I was expecting, it´s still a great game and I enjoyed playing it everytime. And while the music was repetitive as hell, and not as charming as the snes game, I had some of the tunes stuck in my head for months! Haven´t played it on multiplayer, but I´m sure that it´s a very fun game for local multiplayer as well.
For 36,90€ (what I payed for it on amazon.es on release day) it´s a superb game and I would recommend it.

Edit: the poll wasn´t there when I answered, but now that I see it, my choice is the same. F*ck Super Mario Maker xD

None. What a shitty year for the WiiU...

Surprised you didn't throw in Super Mario Maker. Then I would have actually had to put on my thinking cap for this one.

Mario Maker

Fast Racing NEO is pretty fun!

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Captain Toad was released in 2015 in Europe, so that one

Woolly World. IMO, it's just as good as Dong Freeze, if not better.

bet: lost

I don't get why not show case the two best games of the year... but in this case it is obviously Mario Maker, altough Wooly World is the best Yoshi game since the original Yoshi Island.

Because those two usually win by default, so I wanted to see how the votes would be distributed without those two to overshadow the rest.
