Thank you for the response. I quite agree that people have been overexaggerating far too much in terms of this election (to be honest I have overexaggarted things as well) and that quite a lot of people on both sides have allowed emotion the take the place of rational thinking. While introspecting, I often wonder if my own emotions causing me to worry irrationally (if Trump supporters on this forum would like to weigh in on this with an opinion that would be great...lol).

I know this will probably not make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, but despite holding differing opinions, I do not hate you (or really anyone else on this forum). I am also quite saddened to hear that you have to live with such worries about the prospects of your family's safety and your own safety. Sadly fear and worrying has become the narrative of our times. I do hope that in the future circumstances become such so that you (and everyone else here and around the world) can worry less and enjoy life with their friends, family, work...and video games :)

of course. Hitler is currently a much better politician. He managed to convince a large amount of people that killing millions of innocent people(mainly Jews) was good.

That's what politicians do. They lie, cheat, and fool the masses to satisfy themselves. No politician has ever gained power by being honest.

Meh, I've never really enjoyed myself. The amount of people ruining our country is sickening. 

Anyways, I hope the best for you as well. I know that it's hard for Arab Christians, especially in America. Most are always laughed at, called terrorists, Muslim spies, etc etc.

Well of course. People here think I'm defending trump or something.

I'm not. It's the opposite. All I'm doing is pointing out that he currently is not as horrendous as Hitler. Can he? Quite easily. We've never had a president who was also one of the richest people on Earth. Any businessman would consider presidency as a dream. If Trump reaches it, he probably succeeded in his business quest to become one of the most powerful men to currently exist.

I just hope we don't need to see that day though. While he may not be as bad as Hitler, he's still a horrible man himself. Never said I support banning Muslims or Mexicans. All I said was that banning them would not be as terrible as killing millions of civilians and invading countries.

For real. I get extremely irritated when some liberals  keep saying things like "Trump is the next Hitler!". As much as I dislike Trump, people blow him out of proportion.

I'm pretty sure kicking out Muslims and Mexicans from our country IS DEFINITELY  not as bad as killing several million people, with 6 million of them being Jews.

The thing is though, a lot of his policies are in line with some of the things Hitler had done.

Often people compare others to Hitler as a sort of generic insult... but that's not the case here.  Scapegoating a certain groups, extreme xenophobia, labelling people by religion... those are things Hitler did.  

So, why shouldn't we compare?  

and you dont know the facts if you think Hitler was like Trump. I cant remember Hitler wanting a wall to stop polish immigration, it was the complete other way around
