Ideally I like Black but Purple is my favourite colour and I did love my purple GBC at the time along with the general purple GC system and gamepad.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
I tend to gravitate towards black when I get controllers, but my if I had to pick my favourite coloured controllers that I have, it would be my gold Wii-mote (like in the pic) and my transparent purple N64 controller.
I would say black followed by white.
