I used to like them until most of their open-world games felt the same and shit.
Now, I care if they release Beyond Good and Evil 2 or another Rayman game. Or a Assassin's Creed game set in Japan.
No, but I love Rayman/Child of Light and like more games from them, so they are a decent developer for me.
Im liking what EA is doing recently. PvsZ GW2 beta was fun nd im looking forward to the release. We also have a new Mass effect this year, Mirrors edge. battlefield, titan fall.
Not even remotely close.
I have a very love/hate relationship with Ubisoft.
I'm not a big fan of the Tom Clancy games. I used to love Assassin's Creed but it's lost it's luster. I've been watching my bf play Child of Light and it's really cute. I personally love the Rayman reboot. I miss Prince of Persia and need to actually play the Far Cry games before I pass judgment on them.
Overall, I feel that they are still a better company as a whole than EA or Activision but I wouldn't necessarily put them under the best of anything. As for 3rd parties, they are kind of up there after Square Enix (mostly for their Eidos franchises as of late though).
If you're talking about actual developers, they aren't even in the top 10. :/
They're actually my most hated developer/publisher and have been for years, so no.
No... They didn't give me a beta code for the division. Bastards.
Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4
i dont buy any ubisoft games anymore... ruined to much. They are worse than EA... That's saying a lot!
They are pretty bad in the way they milk their stuff, but they aren't bad in the sense that they buy and run down lots of studios and franchises from those studios.
I mean... westwood and C&C seem to have died at EA's hands and that is an unforgivable sin. Not to mention bullfrog and maxis. EA is still the worst to me. They always will be unless they start reviving those IP's. They single-handedly destroyed a portion of the industry, and i hate them for that. Dumb yearly sports games...
