We've heard the rumors. Nintendo has had a Pikmin 4 in the works. And, it should be done by now, if sources are to be believed. I think that Pikmin 4 would be a nice game to launch the NX with, or maybe be a lauch window game. I know that it might not be there to hold anyone over, because the game will be out very soon, but I bet we could see the NX launch with "Pikmin: The Olimar Collection". It'll be a remastered collection of Pikmin, Pikmin 2, and 3. Because of the more visually realistic nature of the series, the first two games are a bit visually dated and definitely in need of remasters. I'm sure 3 could stand to look a bit better too. Some of those ground textures, ugh.

Anyone else think it's a good idea? It could be Nintendo's own "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" or "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection".

Yeah, that could be a good idea, since Pikmin 1 and 2 are older games, as well as Pikmin 3 being kinda rare. I wouldn't buy it though. I have 2 and 3 already.

It'd be a great way to introduce the series to people like me, especially considering that Pikmin 3 is in serious need of a reprint.

Yes. The first two games badly need an update. Pikmin 2's ground textures look really awful, even for the time of its release.

Dear god yes. I love Pikmin and only bought the U for Pikmin 3, this would have me pre-ordering the NX right now if it was announced.
