everything you are saying i am thinking its the reverse

-suprior controller? Not for me it has rounded buttons which are hurting my fingers and the Dpad is awfull. I also dont like the huge triggers

-i much rather prefer changing my hardrive myself and built in a 2TB which is more than enough, Xbox doesnt allow you it without losing your warranty. And i have heard it can also break your console if the HD isnt recognized.

- Gold and PS+ are the same, but it doesnt change the fact that PS3 online is for free. With the 360 its not.

- can your 360 play all PS1 games? no it cant, thats over 3000 games less for 360. The OG Xbox emulation performs terrible and only a handfull of titles are supported by the way

- 360 cant play blue rays

- 360 is region locked so thats even more Games your PS3 will be able to play over 360.

+ red ring of death (that's at least a factor for me)

How has PC been dragged in? This is a topic about gaming devices, no? PC is a gaming device.

Because he said bang for buck, and in order to match a PS3, you'll be spending at least a quarter of that $200 on the video card alone. And I say dragged in because even though it has been shot down multiple times already, it keeps getting brought back up.

A external HDD is much more convient.  Also its a lot easier to tranfer files from the internal to the external HDD.  If I would upgrade the HDD in my PS3 I would have no clue on how to tranfer the files on it to a new HDD.

You can buy a PC for a bit more than that which can do so so so much more. Topic doesn't say cheapest, topic says best bang for your buck and there is much more value in a PC for a bit more money than a PS3 for $200.

Well I already have a laptop so the ps3 is the best bang for my buck. btw. How much money would your pc cost to play all games the ps3 can? and please don't forget half of the parts for it like the last guy.

I mean this topic is about to get the best out of your money, but without the price for your pc there is nothing to discuss you just said all the time for more money you get more, but how much more money are we talking about 50€, 100€, 200€?

so after you can say how much it is we can discuss if this higher amount of money is better to get than getting a cheaper ps3.

I can't say. It's hard to pit the Ps3 against Nintendo's exclusives for me. I own a Wii U and PS3 and find myself jumping back and forth between the two. It depends on your tastes. But I will say that the PS3 is a very robust system that offers much more than its competitors. Now if only they could do free Online.

You can buy a PC for a bit more than that which can do so so so much more. Topic doesn't say cheapest, topic says best bang for your buck and there is much more value in a PC for a bit more money than a PS3 for $200.

 

 

i am mostley talking about gaming. But yes i doubt a PC with a litle more than 200$ will play Last Gen Games at 720p 30fps. Not to mention about the Blue ray Drive and the controller

Is it because a PC is the best gaming device you can still buy right now? Best bang for your buck perhaps? 

OT: 360 is better for me, but I'm totally bias. So ignore what I say.

you can make a system back up on an external drive and copy all files to the new HD
