I think sigs/avatars should simply be deactivated as standard/for guests and users can activate that if they want.

Perfect solution, actually.

Not ok.
Why anyone thought that sig was fine Miguel is beyond me.
As for the problem as mentioned, it's not a difficult thing to have more restrained avatars and sigs for general forum use, whilst keeping NSFW content purely in the NSFW camp. There's no decrease in content; just a reallocation of where the content is placed. If it's an issue and you think you MUST HAVE and NSFW avatar or sig like the one Miguel linked (or a few others going around nowadays and in the past too), then I don't know what you expect to get out of a family friendly gaming site.
Thus far we have hardware, topless men, and clothed breasts added to the NSFW list. Anything else?
It's going to be interesting when Bayonetta 3 comes out and we're only allowed to show images of the backgrounds.

At my work gaming sites and porn are blocked. The only gaming related site I found is Ars Technica. Oddly enough youtube is free to watch.

Pretty much in a nutshell.
Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see
So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Also a good point, if those driving home the point where we can't have anything slightly NSFW related in our avis or sigs then we certainly cannot show anything even slightly nsfw related for any and all games, no use trying to make it suitable for one party but not the other.

Honestly the only solution I can think of is that users don't watch this site at work or school (and I have been thinking about this for a while). Sigs like the one Miguel shared should be reported tho.
