Forums - Nintendo - NEW Gameplay Footage of Twilight Princess HD via Nintendo Minute

Castle Town floor looks stunning. Also, the details are pretty good. Hope it gets decent marketing, so it can sell about 2.5m~3m units lifetime.

It looks very impressive, but at the same time, a bit disappointing D:

Looks pretty good, still not planning to get the game, though.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

After seeing this i might buy the game.

I'm starting to think about selling the GameCube version to buy this game instead.

Wtf why are people so picky?

Seriously, this doesn't even look bad. Sometimes people just need everything to look perfect.

Chillax. If it looks nice and is fun, good enough.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

The lack of a lighting/shading overhaul is still a missed opportunity, but at least the texture upgrades here look more impressive than in prior footage.

This is not right... those crisp textures are just making the game look flat and barren. It was not meant to be at 1080p, look at the geometry... if they were to remake/remaster a game this old and outdated, they should have done it for real.

I'm a Zelda fan, but I have to say that this remaster is a shame. :S

The problem is that you want a remake, you want Nintendo expending the same amount of money they waste to do a new AAA game into a simpe remake, but this is a remaster, and the trexture works make this game looks miiiles better than the original, the original really needed to look this crispy because is so blurry is unplayable on today TVs.

No way, if they had given the Wind Waker HD treatment to this remaster I'd be satisfied. And no, it's not just the art style that benefited Wind Waker, they also completely redone the lightning system, used new effects, etc. With TPHD they just made somewhat better textures in 1080p and called it a day. Sorry, but my standards are not that low to be satisfied.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Your standards are pretty blind, because Wind Waker did had better lightning than the original but the textures were almost the same, however this had a huge rework of all the textures, so at the end both games had a very similar amount of effort, is just that Wind Waker is one of the prettiest things ever so it looks better.
