This is not right... those crisp textures are just making the game look flat and barren. It was not meant to be at 1080p, look at the geometry... if they were to remake/remaster a game this old and outdated, they should have done it for real.

I'm a Zelda fan, but I have to say that this remaster is a shame. :S

The problem is that you want a remake, you want Nintendo expending the same amount of money they waste to do a new AAA game into a simpe remake, but this is a remaster, and the trexture works make this game looks miiiles better than the original, the original really needed to look this crispy because is so blurry is unplayable on today TVs.

No way, if they had given the Wind Waker HD treatment to this remaster I'd be satisfied. And no, it's not just the art style that benefited Wind Waker, they also completely redone the lightning system, used new effects, etc. With TPHD they just made somewhat better textures in 1080p and called it a day. Sorry, but my standards are not that low to be satisfied so it looks good

Your standards are pretty blind, because Wind Waker did had better lightning than the original but the textures were almost the same, however this had a huge rework of all the textures, so at the end both games had a very similar amount of effort, is just that Wind Waker is one of the prettiest things ever so it looks better.
