TP 2006 - TPHD 2016.

Was it actually that long? Felt a lot shorter to me...

Nevermind then :p

No problem. I have the same perception like you, until I realize it has passed 10 years.

The time goes flying.

I hear what your saying, and I agree it sucks for those that don't get the Amiibo. And yes, the game could have been polished up and overhauled better. I expected more as well.

Still a day 1 purchase for me.

That's exactly the problem. Nintendo knows we're all buying this day one so they get away with making cheap remasters.

I am indeed part of the problem. I can't help it, I love Zelda.

I will wait fo rthe final game - hopefully it will look better then soem images - but of course this is the closest HD Nintendo has ever done on a Zelda game at least from original release I mean - in ten years the graphic didn't improve as much as the others...

Switch!!!

Eh it will feel the same as Wind Waker HD
both weren't really deserving of a make over but Ill take it

http://moongypsy.bandcamp.com/ ~Thank you Stefl1504 for the amazing sig~

The only thing that bugs me about this remake is that there's a fanmade remake in the works out there that looks 10000 times better than the Tanalus port, someone might argue that the fanmade remake runs on PC but the graphics look on par with Wind Waker or even Zelda U so why not hiring the guys behind the fanmade TP Remake and make them the official "Zelda Remakes team" ? I'm shure they would be ok working on remakes for other franchises too so there's no point in a release of THIS "Remake" of TP...

I think it would have been better to wait until NX and do with the UE4. The UE4 demos of OoT are very impressive if we consider it is done by a very small team.

That is true, it's total nonsense to have the same game releasing on 3 consecutive generations of consoles, tough I believe Nintendo doesn't want to lose the opportunity to make FULL remakes of the most important Zelda games on the worst Nintendo console; since Skyward Sword was the last non remake home console release they couldn't pick it so they had to go with TP...

It's obviously the least impressive upgrade, yes. Very disappointed they didn't go for a full AAA style upgrade given that it's one of their best series.
This seems to be more of a "fill the calendar" release than anything else. I'll still get it though.

Actually, looking at comparisons, the Twilight Princess HD version looks pretty good, or it the original doesn't look as good as I remember it haha. It's the small details that got the polish, which is a little hard to see until you pay attention and look closely at things. o:

I don't agree with the Wolf Link amiibo thing though. That implement was stupid. All that should have been included in the game already. Oh well, I'll still get it.

People needed comparisons to see the difference in textures? Maybe they need glasses. Original TP textures were atrociously muddy.
