Don't be surprised if Bayonetta 3 doesn't get made. Based on its sales, and depending on its development and advertising budget I wouldn't be surprised if the game barely broke even. It could possibly have lost money for some of the parties involved.

Put it this way, Bayonetta 1 sold over 2 million copies, and that wasn't enough to make Platinum games make a sequel on its old. Bayonetta 2 sold half that.

Know what would probably cause a huge meltdown?...If Nintendo managed to secure an exclusive 'Souls´game from From Software...but what are the chances of that actually happening...?

Only way there would be a real meltdown is if Bayo 3 ends up being multi plat.

Bayonetta 2 coming to WII U exclusively was hardly what I'd call a "meltdown" so I doubt it's third entry being announced exclusive to Nintendo will even flick anyone's eye ...

Sure there were plenty of several butthurt console warriors out there at the time but let's not pretend that most of them didn't have any other options such as Devil May Cry, God of War, Ninja Gaiden, Metal Gear Rising, Darksiders, maybe the more recent Dynasty Warrior games including the some of the spin-offs or even the upcoming Hellblade ...

I love that logic. No one buying it on said system did it in the first place. So then, those people are the faults. So I assume they should self meltdown?

I honestly couldn't care less about any meltdown, though I would be really happy to play Bayonetta again on NX. But I'm not as sure it will be as some of you are. Yeah, bayo is in smash so is ryu! And although Cloud in smash looks pretty suspicious I can't see bayonetta in smash as a direct relation to bayo 3 for NX.

I know I won't care this time unless they also port Bayo2 to NX.
