Very true. My personal opinion of VR isn't a good one but VR flourishing in Japan for awhile wouldn't surprise me. May be more popular there then anywhere else possibly. I can definitely see them be heavy early adopters of VR, regardless of if VR tech needs to cook another 5+ years IMO. =p

Simmer Lessons may be the IP to cause Japan its apocalypse.

They told me consoles where dying in Japan. This was supposed to explain Xbox One's lackluster numbers as even the PS4 was down. But alas, now its just the Xbox that is down. Almost everything that every analyst said has been proven wrong.

PS1+N64+Saturn=roughly 30 million

PS2+GC+XB+DC=roughly 30 million

PS3+Wii+360=roughly 25 million

PS4+Wii U+XB1=currently under 5.5 million

Not sure how ps4 slim will help. Ps3 slim took off because the original ps3 Was too freaking expensive. Ps4 doesn't have that problem. The games coning soon however, should negate this

The ps4 is double the size of the super slim.  In a few years if they can half the size of the ps4 and half its price too it will help especially in emerging markets.
