Last year November 30th-December 06th was week 49, this year November 28th-December 04th is week 48...

Week 48 last year was essentially a different week... You have aligned the weeks wrongly!

I haven't aligned the weeks wrong, in 2015 I used the last week of Media Create as Week 53 2015 instead of Week 1 2016 (that's the way NeoGAF does it). Already made a post about this: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8121468

Do you find it right to compare November 23-29 of last year, with November  28th-December 04th? Different time periods?

I still want to compare it week by week because that's the way Media Create does it too. Week 48 2015 will be compared with Week 48 2016. Otherwise I think you would lose the overview in this thread. 

But I get your point. The way to compare the weekly numbers is a matter of opinion.
