Surprised that COD still manages to sell 10m. I believed the series was in decline.
We have gamer even on this site who are unhappy for a game to sell so good.... I mean what? If a game you like is a flop sales wise I can understand why some are not happy with that, but feeling unhappy for a game because it is selling so good and I on the other side hope that every game would sell good so we could get more for everything and everyone.
Edit: If someone here can explain to me with good reason why Fifa or CoD are trash I will listen to him.

Im surprised how it looks like europe is a bigger market for game sales, than the US is.
People always assume the US is the biggest market, but that doesnt look like its the case here.
A great number of software sales indeed, The sad part is the highest First party exclusive that isn't a remaster is #26 with 2.59M but that should change with Uncharted 4.
Software doing amazingly well already on PS4 at this point....can't imagine the numbers for GTA 6 if it ever releases by the end of this gen.

while the 35m figure from sony is 22nd november - 2nd january
i just assumed ~3.5m software sales for the last week of december, what put vgc numbers to 45
and 45 vs 35 is 30% overtracked. if we include digital, this number is proably about 40%

Disappointed.
What's wrong with gamers? Why is this popular? It isn't spectacular in any way, nor is it even acceptable in an impressive number of ways. It's a mediocre game from a mediocre series in a mediocre genre.
Gamers need to collectively go to their rooms and think about their bad choices.

It's the same game every year (sometimes twice a year) with little to no changes. Few adjustments are made to the game engine itself, and even fewer content adjustments.
It tells other developers that stagnation is fine as long as it makes money, and inspires lazy development.

how many cods and fifas did you play the last couple of years? and are all devs using the unreal engine also lazy?
