No Shantae or Shovel Knight yet? What a bunch of jokers!

Also, some older characters which where big during NES/SNES, like Belmont (pick one, almost every Castlevania has it's own after ll), Arthur (Ghouls and Ghosts), Bill (Contra), Billy (Double Dragon. Well ok, make that Abobo) or Haggar (Final Fight)

Edit: As for pure non-Nintendo Characters (meaning they wheren't on a Nintendo platform save the VC maybe), I'd add Alex Kidd, Ax Battler (Golden Axe), Wonder Boy and Joe Higashi (Fatal Fury/King of Fighters)

Rayman joins the battle!!: Rayman is just as popular as Mega Man! Rayman's 2D games has been picking up since this decade started and I will for sure buy the next 2D Rayman game! He's been around for 20 years so I'm sure he's pretty well known by now. Him along with Link, Mario, Conker and DK, he's been in my childhood memories! He should be the "Big Guest Character" for Smash 5!. Sonic in Brawl, Mega Man in Smash 4 and now Rayman in Smash 5!

King K Rool dongs into Smash!: Well.... We have Ganon who fights Link, Bowser who fights Mario, Mewtwo from Pokemon (Pikachu)...and who does Donkey Have? NO ONE. DK is a successful franchise and it's top villian isn't in Smash!

Shadow speeds things up into Battle!: Shadow is the Vegeta of the Sonic series! He looks pretty cool, badass and he should make it into Smash! Sonic has appeared in 2 Smash games now and he needs another character from his Franchise. Also for the people who don't like Sonic because he's too fast, THIS is the character for you!

Banjo brings the strings!: I honestly never tried a Banjo Kazooie game until 2010. When I first played the N64 game I already somehow felt that childhood feel again! I know he brought so many good feels to people 15 years ago. And he DID debut on Nintendo consoles first!

Captain Toad tracks its treasure into Smash!: Toad has had his own game right now and man it was ever a good one! Although he didn't fight much in it. But he used weapons! Such as turning those bullets around and the spike hammer to end enemies. He also used his hat to burn people too. Look at Viligar! He drops flower vases, sets fireworks and all those things as well. I'm pretty sure Nintendo could do things like that too with Captain toad. Oh he can't  jump? Make him climp a ladder real fast for his jump!

Mario enemies unite to Smash!: It would be nice to see Koopa Troopa's, Goomba's, Hammer Koopa's, come together to make one character. I may sound confusing at first. But look at Pikmin in smash! it's a group walking around together! Maybe Nintendo can make one full character from Mario to do such a thing

Mii Sports enters the game!: I'm not talking about Mii fighter, swordsmen or Brawler. I'm talking about the average Mii in Wii Sports coming to Smash. Very similar to Mii  fighters but not the same thing! We can have the Mii Sports fighter using Bowling balls, Baseball bats, golf clubs and Tennis rackets to battle! Or if this doens't work. Make this Mii Sports a 4th option for the Mii's.

 Sackboy jumps into battle!: This may seem weird since Little Big Planet is a Playstation exclusive. But it can happen! It SHOULD do good for Sony too for free advertising. Sackboy is a well known character from last generation and has lots of attack moves you can choose from! Sackboy can battle Mario on cutscenes since they are both similar to eachother.

Mario Kart races into battle!: This is an idea that is somewhat unpopular. Think abou it! There's a Mario kart character and you can choose so many costumes for it! Make DK, Yoshi or Mario drive the kart!. Side B make the Blue Shell come crashing down infront of you! Special Smash you get a Star and when you touch other players they go flying off! B you throw bananas.  B you drift into people. There's sooo many options you can do! I think it would be pretty cool to do this!

Inklings splat into Battle:  Well this is a no thinker!  I promise you they WILL come into Smash sometime. There's really no explaination for this one.

Paper Mario Cuts into Smash!

Waluigi wahs into Smash: Another forgotten Nintendo character who NEEDS to come to Smash! He's the 4th Mario character the the hat! c'mon!

Knuckles lifts into Smash!: he can also be a costume for Shadow as well!

Minecraft mines into Smash: Now that Mincraft is on a Nintendo platform. Maybe it can grab a spot!

Goku brings the spirit bomb to Smash: I know Goku originated from a TV series but look at the successful Dragon Ball Z series! It's a fighting game that is just as successful as Street Fighter and Tekken! Sure people voted for "Shrek" and Shrek has its own games but they're not good! they all suck.Dragon ball Z games are good and take some skill to master! They are fun and good! Sometimes I think I like the games better than the anime itself. I do consider Goku a big video game character AND a tv show character. If Ryu can make it, I'm sure Goku has a good chance!    

These are most of my realistic suggestions I can come up at this point. People like Shrek, Tetris block and such are stupid. I characters I picked was the characters I thinks should come to Smash.
