Losing Xenoblade has really gutted Wii U's numbers.
Pleasantly surprised to see I wasn't alone in voting for Yooka Laylee or 90s Arcade Racer though.

Is the Wii U entering the same partially abandoned state that the Wii finished in?
Thanks for your work, axum.
I'm actually surprised with Uncharted 4, I really thought it would be the number 1 from now until its release, and yet it got less votes and a lot less points than last month.
Zelda U took advantage of that and the release of Xenoblade to become the number one game.
Also PC did better than last month. That's great!
Please excuse my bad English.

Thanks :)
Overall, voting was down a decent amount compared to the previous month. So that could have also kept Uncharted from the top spot. |
Yeah, I noticed that too.
Even Zelda got one less vote, but despite that it managed to get more points.

Strong Jrpg presence. Not only on VGCs, but the general awareness is better. SE getting back on its feet is a big part of the reason. Persona had no new main entry last gen (why?) the franchise is consistent and well loved by the fans too.
Thanks for keeping this feature alive. ^^

No problem :)
I think that part of the problem roots in the fact that the ps3 was originally more difficult and expensive to create games for I believe. Which is why Sony seem to obsess over the fact that the PlayStation 4 was so much easier to develop for. |
Makes perfect sense. I remember the Japanese developers struggling last gen with the PS3. And their efforts on the xbox were moderately successful at best.
