It got worse with time. Try rebuilding the database, it resolved the issue for me. you won't lose any data. But the home screen will be re-arranged.

When you select one of the games on your menu, if your scroll through the options they have a featured live stream that starts playing automatically. It lags the UI for me everytime. Not only that, but the audio from the stream continues to play until you start an app which is annoying as hell. Such a stupid feature.

My UI gets juddery a few times while on a game. However, when I shut it down, it sometimes stays on the "Preparing to turn off the PS4" more than 20 seconds and it makes three beeps before shutting down.

I've had that a few times and when I start it back up the next time it says it wasn't shut down properly like it was my fault.

Yeah, especially since they added the dumb Live From Playstation streams that play when you go to a game's menu on the UI. Those are annoying. Too much clutter. Wish I could just hide some of these useless apps.
