Congratulations to both but especially to Yoshi's Woolly World. It very much deserves these sales as it is the best Yoshi game since the SNES and easily one of the top 2D platformers on the Wii U.... The artistic creativity in this game is nothing short of marvelous.

Fully agree.

Congrats to those three titles!

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

No differant to any other recent Lego game really though is it? Don't think many Lego games have passed a million on individual SKU'S

you kidding? most of the Lego games do at least a mil or way more on individual SKUS

Not on 8th gen consoles they haven't! Obviously on Wii.360, and ps3 they sold like hotcakes. On 8th gen only two games have made over 1 million: Lego marvel heroes on ps4 at 1.5m and Lego undercover at 2.38 million on wii u/3ds. I think that figure allows for a sequel surely

Still waiting for my Frank Honey spinoff...
And I will add that this game is indeed near impossible to find here in New York, so if this is typical of the rest of the US, I don't know how a million sales happened...
I think this game should get a reprint, along with Pikmin 3, now that there are more Wii U owners out there...
More owners usually means more sales, right???

You know US isn't the whole world right? Over here in Europe they are fairly easy to pick up especially Pikmin 3. Don't know if they original shipment though...

If it really hit 1 million, we will see in the next financial report

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

I don't think VGC knows they have been out of print for over a year now lol

I mentioned that on the walls of a couple Wii games. VGC still adds sales every week even though most haven't been getting new shipments for years (which is easily verifiable on Nintendo's ir page by looking through reports). Some now have 100s of k's or even over a million of sales more than they ever shipped. This is probably true fir other publishers as well though I never checked...

Woah had no idea Yoshi was selling so well to reach 1 million already, especially considering it was released much later here for unexplained reasons. I'll probably be adding on to it's legs by the of the year. As for Lego City, eh, maybe if I can find it for $20 or less. :L

Captain Toad a million seller! YES!
