Oh yeah, in no way will it. Despite the quality, it is obvious the developer spent a lot of time and effort on this game. Then bringing it to steam does not help. Hopefully when all is said and done Nintendo did not anger yet another 3rd party dev.

I think 3rd parties were already wary of Nintendo, the handling of Devil's Third didn't help.

But if Nintendo is willing to fund projects, there will always exclusives they can acquire. I assume Itagaki came to Nintendo with few options.

I don't think it managed to sell more than 30/40k, being maybe optimistic. I can't blame them, the game looks bad, and it didn't have a good reception. I understand some people might enjoy it, to each his own, but I think it's an awful game. But, hey, they shipped a lot of Amiibo Festival copies and that game is shittier. At least some people could find DT fun, and I think that's impossible with AF.

You have it and do not like it? You should join us in a multiplayer session. My tag is ryan.

Or just join the clan I am in and we will do some seige matches.

I don't have it, I've just play some matches in a friend's house, but it was hard to play some online play and a couple of hours of the single campaign. I can't say I enjoyed it so... But I'm glad some people is having fun with the game, that's what games are meant to :P. And as I said, although I personally dislike the game, I can see some people having fun with it. I don't see it possible with Amiibo Festival though XDD.

If anyone wants to play this wonderful gem, I am willing to buy you a Australian Wii U + the game and ship it to NA for you lol.

You may need your own step down power transformer though (not sure as I haven't looked at the DC voltage and amps).

Also, I didnt know online wasn't free. How much is it? I've been playing Splatoon online and the lag happens seldom enough that it's bearable. Especially considering the fact that internet in Nigeria isn't exactly awesome. And from the user names, I know I'm playing with people from all over the world. Some of the names are written in kanji. Does Devil's Third online mode lock you in to play only with people from your own country? If that happens, will I be playing with people from America (because my Wii U is american, and my nintendo network account address says I'm in America) or would I be playing with people from Nigeria?
