Alright, well I'm glad to hear that most people think the game did ok. I actually think it's pretty good, much better than I expected anyway.

I wanted it to bomb even more than it did. Freaking Nintendo with their pathetic filler year deserved squat except for a reality check.

It didn't sold very good, well below OoT3D. On top of that, Crapmiibo Party and Mario Tennis flopped hard critic and saleswise. And wait next year for Federation Force.

Iwata-san is probably rolling in his grave for how dumb these games are.

It would be hilarious if those games were released at the N64 era with the Seal of Quality.

I don't think it's fair to include THF in with the likes of AC:Amiibo Fesitival and Mario Tennis:US. It's actually a fun, unique game. I'm glad they made it anyway...

I also have it and it must have come as DLC for ALBW for $10-15 at most.

It had a slow start (54k) but it was really benefited by holidays in Japan, I mean it almost sells like typical spin-off Zelda in Japan...

As you say, npd had it at 83k in the USA in October, then we had two holildays months, one includes the black Friday week, and the other one the cristhmas period, I can easily assume that LTD of the game in the USA is more than it is in Japan!
Zelda isn't big anymore in Japan, it's just decent, but in the USA is being adored, as I was always saying, like the time when I was trying to persuade some people that hyrule warriors wouldn't flop because the west, mainly the USA would save it, since hyrule warriors is Zelda themed.
People sticked to the fact of 75k first week in Japan and big drop in the second week, considered that sales would be even lower in the USA, because warrior games which are Japanese centric genre supposedly doesn't sell well in the west, ignoring the Zelda factor! And in the end hyrule warriors served crow...

Then I don't think, it's overtracked... As for bombing, in the beginning it seemed as a bomb but holidays maded it to surge, also never underestimate Nintendo games legs. Triforce heroes opened with 54k in Japan on the 25th of October ,and it's at 141k as of December 28th....
