Alright, I'm going to be 100% honest with you all, I am not a fan of NX threads -to the surprise of none of you. But I'm not in the minority here, many many disliked them. Not because it was NX itself but rather the topics being discussed about the NX being awful and a great majority of them being repeated on a weekly basis. However, I'm getting bored of having to lock NX threads all the time x~x So instead we'll do a compromise: 

You guys will make up the rules down below on how an NX thread can be. Here's an example as I'll start:

NX threads will have a similar clause to the news articles in that once a subject has been created in one thread it cannot be repeated and be locked. In other words, we can't have; "What color will the NX be?" one week and then "What do you guys think the color of the NX will be?" the next. None of that shit. It's part of what got NX threads banned to begin with. 

or another idea can be: NX threads can't be a title with the OP saying, "Now discuss from title." Put some effort in these NX threads

So by the end of the week if people can agree on a set of rules about how NX threads should be made -you can make NX threads again. If you're going to complain, "Oh well I think there should be no rules" and similar such garbage we can go back to no NX threads as it is. Which would suck because there have been some decently made NX threads in the past.

Seriously though it's been a while and I would hope that at least this year Nintendo makes some form of NX announcement in terms of it's look or more on it's specs or possibly what games are in store for it. Maybe even partnership deals.

I propose that there should be ONE AND ONLY ONE THREAD FOR RUMORS. Otherwise we'd end up with hundreds of similar copy-pasted articles from weeaboo blogs every time a Japanese dev mentions Nintendo's future.

Oh and the same for predictions and questions because those really got out of hand.

Bollocks! The NX topic got jacked off so frequently that OPs ended up shooting blanks 8/10 times.
If I ever see a front page like this again:
"Chin Chun Chan spotted dancing to INXS music - NX is six piece confirmed"
"How many inches in diameter will the NX be?"
"I'm making a vow of celibacy for the NX"
I will spam every thread with porn gifs until I'm permabanned, so help me God

I like the "Official NX Rumors" Idea.

Honestly I'd be fine with one official NX thread where people that want to speculate and discuss about it can do so and then new NX threads are only created when new information is available (i.e. a new patent uncovered, a credible rumour, Nintendo giving a official statement, etc.)

The biggest problem with the NX threads was that a lot of them asked pointless questions for the sake of asking them that no one could possibly answer or didn't warrant a thread. We don't need the forum cluttered with those type of threads. We have enough of those already.

Following the idea of the rumors thread I think there should be a "Patents thread" where all the patents filed by Nintendo are listed and where users can point out their ideas on how they think NX would work, spreading from it beeing a Home Console that uses a Handheld as a controller to the donut shaped controller that glows when you touch it :v

I think i agree with what most people sad here like having 1 Official Thread for each of the following:
- Predictions Thread
- Patents Thread
- Rumors Thread
(and more if people can think of more)

Then one person can maybe change the tittle for every new information (Maybe not the prediction thread) So people can hop in and join in the discussion.

And then maybe any news about the NX which is from Nintendo/Official can have its own threads.

I say just let people make threads about NX and if someone doesn't like it, ignore it. Really, I don't get the hate on this subject at all.
