Also, any Zelda spinoff would pwn XIII in sales, and most likely hype, particularly a debut Zelda game at E3. We have not seen anything about FF XIII since 2005, and gameplay can smash anything sony or nintendo can bring. Also, dont act so cocky as if zelda is going to be bigger than FF XIII.

I'm thinking there may not necessarily be some triple A games announced for Wii, but rather tons and tons of lesser games. And by lesser I mean great, awesome games, just nothing ala Zelda.

I'd rather have Kid Icarus, a new Paper Mario (doubt it), the Monolith RPG, Zelda, and Pikmin and Animal Crossing rather than a new DK. If they announce a new Zelda ALONE I would be happy. But they said they're going to announce more than just one game so I expect things like AC (which has kinda been confirmed alreayd, really, just no info =/). Well, for me, a new DK ALONE would make me happy.

Besides, I think Kid Icarus would be interesting because it could become a new action-adventure franchise of which we haven't too much, a new Pikmin would be awesome and I wonder why we haven't heard anything about a new Wave Race or a new F-Zero game yet. A Monolith RPG would also be awesome of course, and Starfox deserves a good game too, it could be a sequel to Starfox Adventures or a true Starfox with the quality of Lylat Wars (aka Starfox 64), both would make me happy.

My bet is Nintendo steals the show with "head tracking" in FATAL FRAME IV.
(Nintendo has taken over the publishing I believe, and they wouldn't do
that for no good reason...)

you won't understand the joy that Donkey Kong was back in the SNES days..

it was second only to Super Mario World..

after Ninty dug the franchise into the ground its only fair they bring it back

I think a good way nintendo can steal the show is with new wiifit break out titles, as well as a new zelda, and new mario platformer for the wii.

Though even though this is a bit off topic, I think sony can steal the show with some new break throgh technology in gaming which concerns the Playstation eye.

 no, Zelda TP got a total of 4.73m + 1.56m = 6.29m, which places it between FFIX and FFVIII. I could see Zelda TP getting more sales than FFXIII due to user base size, but i don't think it will pwn FFXIII.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

They won't be showing anything major about FF13 at E3 anyway, they'd save that for TGS or some other Japan event.

All the systems have a lot of potential for cool announcements, I just hope we don't get any snoozers like MS's last year.
