Kirby's Air Ride is my favorite. I played that game so much with my siblings when we were kids.

Actually it's pretty much required that English is taught in Japanese schools, so it's not as out of place as you might think! some english might be poorly translated in-game because it 'sounds cool' though, the less sense it makes the 'cooler' it is.... cool huh? XD |
Yeah, that is true, though kids usually start in Junior High, and they are probably decent by the time they're 3rd years, and maybe they haven't learned some of the words yet..? I dunno. I really should go through my games again and see how the English is... o:

Yeah you lived in Japan a while, were the Japanese confused by english text in their games? o.o I think its because it was a limited release indie title v.v I have the Vita version but I want the original! Or the DS version :3 it's such a great game |
That's a good question... I'm not sure. I didn't see many modern Japanese games in action, so I'm not sure if they have a lot of English in them... Maybe they do..? I think Animal Crossing had some of the shops written in English. If I had to base it on kids I worked with, they probably would xD They probably don't pay attention to the English.. x )
If you go to Japan and go to Akiba, maybe you can find it among the various game shops there. Maybe in Super Potato..?

Super Star Ultra, as that is one of the few Kirby games that I played (and beat too!)

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
It's between Kirby Superstar and Kirby 64. Return to Dreamland was pretty sweet too.
Kirby Super Star on SNES.
Kirby's Adventure (NES) and Kirby's Return to Dreamland (Wii) are very good too.

I got a gameboy advance just so I could play the amazingness that is Amazing Mirror with my friends! Absolutely loved the interconnected world, gave the game a huge sense of adventure and exploration. Been dying for a sequel ever since!
Favorite = Kirby Adventure on the NES. Game still plays, looks, and sounds wonderful. It has aged really well. I also really like Super Star. I need to play Return to DreamLand but am not trying to spend 50 dollars on it. It's still so expensive.
