The censoring is really not all that it is made up to be. Maybe a few changes in the attire of each fighhter's clothing and the covering of Tharja's behind (in a DLC no less). Other than that, I've not noticed much to really cry foul on censorship. Awakening is (because I'm trying to 100% it so I'm not done yet) an amazing game and really got me motivated to play other games in the franchise. It remains one of my favorite games ever due to its characters, music, and gameplay. I will get Fates and judge the game the same way I judged Awakening, not really caring about the little bits of censorship.

Well for the dialogue if you didn't see the original or another version from another region, then you wouldn't know it was censored. 

But for the pictures then yes you could SEE that it was censored. Did that picture came from the game or just from some trailer/teaser?

It wouldn't impact my purchase at this point, as I'm a huge fan of the franchise, and everything I've seen of the gameplay looks solid.

It might impact my enjoyment of the game though...depending on what is being censored. If actual story content is being censored or removed, then I'll definitely be disappointed. If it's simply some half-naked characters or ecchi content like in the OP...then I honestly can't see myself caring.

Well even for that picture, if you only see one version, you wouldn't know that it's been censored between versions, unless you saw both, right? After all, in some cases things like that are obscured in every version from the get go. One thing that also gets people upset is when one demographic is treated differently than another, when they feel it's unnecesary. Though for some people, it's enough for them to feel it's unnecesary in general, or worried about what else they may censor in the future.

As for the pictures, I'm not aware of there being any trailer showing that scene. I assume they are screen captures people have taken from the scene in different versions. It's from a DLC episode you could buy for Awakening.

Ok, if the censorship looked like that, I'd get annoyed. But, I'd still be 50-50 because I'm not sure if I even want the game. But if i do decide to, this won't bother me.

Either way, I can look away. GAYUSP. I never knew humans can rotate their heads to prevent seeing something!

Yeah, I still plan to buy it. Sure, I would like to see some skin, but I wouldn't really miss it if it was taken out.

Censorship or not. I don't really cate.
I don't buy a game based on "Tits and Ass. Cuss words. Etc" I buy it based on its quality and if it's something I enjoy.
For example. I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles X and I'm liking both Lin and Elma a lot. But I like them based on the personalities and abilities in the game.
I don't care if Lin was censored, that's not why I bought the game and I am still very happy with the game and enjoying it greatly.

Depends if the characters in question under or over 18.

I'm fine with Fatal Frame and Xenoblade doing away with fetishistic costumes on underage characters, but to censor adults in bikinis seems silly.
